Decision Register

The table below provides a list of all planning application decisions as an Adobe PDF document. The Decision Register includes details of:

• Planning Application Reference Number
• Type of application eg. detailed planning permission
• Site location address
• Applicant/Agent name and address
• Details of the decision eg. Committee or Delegated by Planning Officer
• Date of decision

The Decision Register is updated on a weekly basis (every Friday).

We also have an Online Application Register, updated daily providing details of all applications received since 1983. The register also provides details of documents associated with an application for example plans and drawings but this is only for those applications currently without a decision or applications that have been received since 1 December 2005. The Application Register has the facility to search for decisions between two dates or for all decisions within the last 28 days.

Decision Notices

The table below also provides details of the Development Control Decision Notices. These are updated on our website weekly (every Friday) and are available to view from 6 working days after the Decision Notices have been issued. Once a decision has been made however the Decision Notices are for reference and information only.

The Decision Notices provide details of:

• Planning Application Reference Number
• Type of application
• Site location address
• Applicant/Agent name and address
• Particulars of the decision
• The conditions of the application or the reasons for refusal
• Reference to Planning Policies relevant to the decision if applicable

The document available on the website does not constitute a valid copy of the planning consent. The signature has been removed from the documents available on the website, however the information contained within them is as legally binding as the original and any subsequent signed copies.

To obtain a signed copy of the Decision Notice please contact Sedgefield Borough Council. Please note there will be a charge for the provision of an authorized copy (£15.00 + VAT).

Development Control Officer Reports

A schedule of applications, which have been determined by Officers by virtue of their delegated powers is made available through the Development Control Committee Minutes. We aim to make this information available on our website 8 days after the Committee date.
