Major Allocations Alternative Options Report
The Major Allocations Alternative Options Report considers the merits of every site that has been submitted to the Council for future housing and economic development. The inclusion of land within this document does not necessarily mean that the site will eventually be included for future development. Comments were received from 9th July to 28th August 2007 on the Major Allocations Alternative Options Report. It was anticipated that the next stage would be to release the Preferred Option paper this year. However, the onset of Local Government Reorganisation meets that this document will not be taken forward any further.
The sites identified in the Alternative Options Report, and those that have subsequently been submitted to the Council, have been included in the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment.
