The Sedgefield Borough Community Strategy (2004 - 2014) was approved in July 2004 and developed following an extensive community appraisal and consultation process via the Borough's LSP.
Each year the Council produces a Corporate Plan which sets out expected challenges for the next three years and explains our approach to tackling these issues.
The Medium Term Financial Plan supports the Council's Corporate Plan and establishes a framework, which will shape the Council's financial strategy and annual revenue and capital budgets (the Budget Framework) throughout the life of the Corporate Plan.
Best Value ensures that councils deliver continuous improvement in services, with regard to efficiency, effectiveness and economy, and the needs and expectations of service users. Best Value Performance Indicators (BVPIs) are an integral part of local government's performance management framework, and are used to measure the performance of local government services. For more information on how Sedgefield Borough Council is performing against its BVPIs, please click the following link - Best Value Performance Indicators.
