What is Tenant Participation?
Tenant Participation in Sedgefield Borough is a two-way process involving the Council and its residents. We have formed a good working relationship with many residents groups and individual residents. During recent years, tenants and residents have become more involved in planning Housing Services and are involved in the decision-making process.
Our aim is to involve you as a tenant or resident of Sedgefield Borough in housing and other related services at whatever level you choose. Whether you just want to receive information or if you want to be involved in the decision-making process, we have a method of involvement to suit you.

How do I get involved?
We have a wide range of opportunities for you to get involved, some of which you may be aware of. We currently have 17 recognised Residents Groups across the Borough that are making a difference in their neighbourhoods. We carry out customer satisfaction surveys to find out how satisfied tenants are with our services. We are actively involved with people of all ages to help make a difference.
We are always looking for new ways of involving residents in the development of our services and always welcome new residents becoming involved.
